We are fed up with filling the ice cube trays.

Every tray I examine recently two ice-cubes remaining. It really is as if the perpetrator on this outrage, and she or he knows who she is, decides that so long there’s 2 cubes left, it could be wasteful to fill the tray. One cube, apparently, might be sacrificed.

Consequently, every time I would like to put ice in my beverage We are limited by two cubes, unless I wish to fill two ice cube trays. I’ve got to then walk entirely over the kitchen and refill the tray or trays slopping water as you go along that we will step up later within my stocking feet.

I blame my spouse, Kathie, for this because I know I’ve got to fill a minumum of one tray each and every time I’ve a drink. She naturally blames me. I realize We are right because I cannot recall ever having personally witnessed her filling a tray. In fairness, I may be going after her an injustice. It can be like one of those math puzzles in which you add, subtract and divide a few numbers and constantly end up getting your birthday. Maybe regardless how many ice cubes you are taking or make, there will always be two cubes remaining.

I did previously blame out daughter but she moved to Boston back many years ago. However, I still pin the rap on her when she comes home for a visit, and am still told that we need to get a lifestyle.

Now I am sure none people can connect with this, because Kathie informs me we’re the only real people left on the planet that don’t use a fridge which makes ice. I, however, recall visiting a special on National Geographic about a tribe in the deepest jungles of Brazil that has got to fill their ice cube trays from your Amazon River. It was noted as one example of the straightforward but difficult lives they lead.

I envy folks who suffer from icemakers, that can just push their glass against a lever and fill it on the brim with refreshing frozen water; or who can open the door towards the freezer and SCOOP a limitless way to obtain frosty nuggets.

My sister-in-law and brother-in-law possess a machine that simply makes ice..that’s all it will!

These people have a scoop that’s the size of a boat bailer which enable it to cool off a glass or two or perhaps a pool very quickly.

They say it is good for entertaining. Whenever we entertain we have to see a supermarket and buying a bag of ice cubes which, when put in the freezer, promptly gets a solid frozen mass that we have to loosen by dropping around the kitchen floor. It is quite entertaining for our guests. I reckon that I could have an ice pick. I not really know should they still make these but suppose they are doing since I saw one for the Sopranos. They did not use it for ice though.

We should get a brand new fridge? Well, We are told how the machine, as well as the expense of getting water pipes to where it resides, would are more expensive than a new BMW.

Excuse me. I have to go fill the ice cube trays.
